What it funds
Digitalization projects: digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, integrated systems, e-commerce and networked business processes, emerging technologies. Most of the benefit is a loan covering up to the whole project, mostly from regional funds at zero interest and the rest from the bank. The rate on the card is the grant share added on top, and it applies only to micro and small firms on non-green projects: medium firms get a smaller one, the green line, the 107.3.c areas and the bonus criteria a larger one. Full rules in the updated Finpiemonte call.
Requirements and what is left out
- The floor on the card is the one for micro and small firms: medium firms and mid-caps need larger projects.
- Mid-caps qualify only with green digitalization projects, and with no grant component.
- Choosing de minimis instead of the block exemption regime means giving up the grant component.
- Production efficiency is Line b) of the same call and this entry does not cover it.
- Excluded activities are listed in the call's annexes: check them before anything else.
- A bank has to be willing to fund its share: without one, the project does not start.
How to apply
- Check that your activity is not among the excluded ones.
- Prepare the project and find the bank that funds its share.
- Fill in the online form on the Region's calls portal.
- Submit early: Finpiemonte can suspend the window when the allocation runs out.
The first Line a) window closed and the updated call reopened it. Forms on the call page.
What this budget builds
This is the size of a whole project: replacing a business system that no longer holds up, connecting the shop floor and the office on the same data, securing the infrastructure before opening it up to the outside. I set the project up in phases with separable costs, so each phase is measured and reported on its own.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
Past editions
Closed editions stay here, inside the page of the same incentive. They are what makes the rhythm visible: knowing that an incentive reopens every autumn with an endowment of a known order lets a company prepare instead of chasing it.
