Fit 4 AI (Luxinnovation AI diagnostic grant)

What it funds

A referenced consultant studies where artificial intelligence can serve the company, checks feasibility against internal data and delivers a detailed action plan with a return estimate. The full rate is for small and medium-sized companies, a lower one for large companies, and the quote must stay within the set band, the same for every size; only the consultant's fees and related expenses, such as travel, are eligible. It is paid as a Ministry capital grant. The description is on the Luxinnovation programme page.

Requirements and what is left out

• Have the registered office in Luxembourg and carry out the main economic activity there.
• Hold a valid business permit issued by the Ministry of the Economy.
• Be in no financial difficulty as of the last closed financial year.
• Carry out no activity excluded by the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 12 October 2018.
• Work with a Luxinnovation-referenced consultant: any other supplier does not unlock the grant.
• Keep the quote inside the set band and file the application before signing it or paying deposits.
• Bring only the consultant's fees and expenses: every other expense stays out.
• Know that large companies enter at a lower rate than SMEs.

How to apply

1. Contact Luxinnovation and choose the referenced consultant to work with.
2. Fill in the online form: Luxinnovation checks its conformity and eligibility and validates it.
3. Send the signed grant application to the Ministry of the Economy before starting: the analysis begins only when the Ministry receives it.
4. Carry out the diagnostic with the consultant, within six months.
5. Receive the Luxinnovation-validated report and action plan and claim the grant payment.

What this budget builds

A diagnostic produces a map; the system remains to be built. The value is in testing it against the data: I check which of the chosen use cases have enough internal data, and only those move to development. The criterion is use-case selection; the return estimate attached to the plan orders the survivors.
