What it funds

The call supports product, service, process and organizational innovation for businesses in the performing arts, visual arts, cultural heritage, audiovisual, music, publishing and new media. The digital transition is named explicitly: new management systems and the digitization of cultural heritage.

  • Hardware and equipment. Brand new, with system software, shipping and installation.
  • Software. Purchase or development of programs, licenses and IT services, including SaaS fees and subscriptions during the project. Maintenance, updates and support are excluded.
  • Consulting and external services. Technology, management and strategy consulting tied to the project, not administrative or accounting work.
  • Promotion. Website, online promotion, campaigns and publications.
  • Staff and indirect costs. A flat rate on the other items, only if requested in the application.

Requirements and what is left out

  • The ATECO 2025 code, primary or secondary, must be one listed in the call's annex: anyone working for the cultural sector without that code is out.
  • The business or VAT number must have been active for more than twelve months when the call was published in the regional gazette. Innovative startups are excluded.
  • One application per applicant, and the operating site in Veneto must be kept for three years after the final payment.
  • Costs count only if invoiced and paid from September 1, 2025, to independent suppliers: shareholders, directors and linked companies are excluded. Cash, offsets and invoices below a minimum set by the call do not count.
  • Used goods, in-house works, costumes and props tied to a show, and the cost of preparing the application are excluded.
  • The project must be completed by the deadline the call sets, with no extensions, and reported spend may not fall below half of the amount approved.
  • Granted under de minimis: it counts toward the company's three-year allowance. Not combinable with PNRR funds.
  • Catastrophic-risk insurance is required, or a statement that the company is not obliged to have it.

How to apply

  1. Check that your ATECO code appears in the call's annex.
  2. Request Fondi.RVE credentials before the window opens.
  3. Fill in the project proposal on the attached template and sign it digitally: unsigned, the application is inadmissible.
  4. Complete the application on Fondi.RVE, download the PDF, sign it digitally and upload it with the attachments.
  5. Attach your environmental certifications, if you have any: they earn points in the ranking.
  6. Submit before the window closes.

What the editions teach

The first edition, in 2023, closed with a ranking that was redrawn after the budget was increased. Compared with then, the maximum grant is lower and the cap on spend is gone, so sizing the project precisely matters more.

What this budget builds

For a cultural business the call pays for the tools that carry the work: a website with ticketing or e-commerce, a CRM for the audience, a digital archive of a catalog or a collection. I start from how the business works today, pick subscription services where they are enough, build only the integration that is missing, and leave the team the documentation to run it all.

This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.

Past editions

Closed editions stay here, inside the page of the same incentive. They are what makes the rhythm visible: knowing that an incentive reopens every autumn with an endowment of a known order lets a company prepare instead of chasing it.
