What it funds
This is the grant Denmark uses to buy SMEs hours of external advice for digitalization projects that start only after the commitment: systems integration, digital strategy, ERP and warehouse management, e-commerce, data analysis. Applications go through the pool page, the commitment comes from the Digitaliseringsstyrelsen, and the project closes with a concrete action plan. Cybersecurity, digital marketing and simple ERP projects receive the smaller voucher.
Requirements and what is left out
- It takes a small or medium Danish company with a CVR number, at least two full-time equivalents and one filed annual statement; the primary sector, agriculture included, stays out.
- It takes a consultant already approved in the consultant database, chosen in the application system before the work starts.
- It takes a cash contribution: the grant covers part of the fee, the company pays the rest.
- Anyone with a previous file still open: it must be closed and reported first, because only one project runs at a time.
- Anyone planning cybersecurity, digital marketing or a simple ERP: those projects receive the smaller voucher, not the full one.
- Anyone looking for someone to write code or install systems: the grant buys advice, analysis and an action plan, not delivery.
How to apply
- Read the pool description, with eligible costs and conditions, and join an info webinar if anything is unclear.
- Choose the approved consultant from the database and name them in the application system.
- File online from the pool page, before the window closes.
- After the commitment, close the project and report inside the assigned period, which cannot be extended. The seven-step guide remains the operating reference.
What this budget builds
A grant of this size buys the clarity that comes before a large investment: the map of systems and processes, the specification for choosing the ERP, a first model on the company's data with the metrics to judge it. I work side by side with the internal team, so the ability to carry the plan forward stays behind. The program, running since 2018, has funded thousands of similar projects: the Digitaliseringsstyrelsen page describes how it is built.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
