Requirements and what is left out

  • Anyone who is not an SME under the EU definition: the Bpifrance offer page admits no other category.
  • Costs incurred before the application is filed: the project starts afterward.
  • A project without high technological risk: the measure covers internal and external R&D of a project still maturing or under validation.
  • Anyone who needs more time: the program runs for twenty-four months at most.
  • The rate rises above the base one depending on the company's category, up to the level the page states.
  • The Bourse French Tech is the variant with the same structure and a lower ceiling.

How to apply

  1. Describe the project and its stage of technical maturity.
  2. File the application with Bpifrance before incurring the costs.

What this budget builds

This is the budget for a project's most uncomfortable question: does it actually work, and at what cost? I build the version that answers with data, a prototype running on real data and producing the technical and economic figures that decide whether to go on. If the answer is no, it is known before the whole product has been built.

This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
