The 2026 call is closed
Funds ran out before the deadline set in the call: the Chamber closed the province of Arezzo first and, on August 5, the province of Siena, which has its own share of the budget. This page explains how the measure works ahead of the next edition.
What it funds
This is the Arezzo and Siena edition of the national Twin Transition program, with a call of its own. Each company files one application.
- Digital innovation. Goods and consulting or training services on at least one listed technology: artificial intelligence, cloud and HPC, cybersecurity and business continuity, big data and analytics, IoT, robotics, blockchain, digital twins, supply-chain integration, management systems such as ERP and CRM.
- Green transition. Consulting and training only: energy efficiency, consumption monitoring including with Industry 4.0 technology, ESG assessment, sustainability reporting, life cycle assessment, a temporary Energy Manager.
- Bonus. A legality rating adds a fixed amount on top of the ceiling.
Requirements and what is left out
- The exclusion list is wider than at other chambers: besides websites, it rules out e-commerce, digital marketing campaigns, remote-work systems and any basic hardware, from PCs to printers.
- Also excluded: tax, accounting or legal advice, compliance work such as GDPR and e-invoicing, and the cost of certifications.
- Costs count from the start of the call's year up to a deadline set after the award, which is also the expense-report deadline.
- The voucher counts against the de minimis allowance. Stacking with other aid is allowed up to the total reported spend.
What the editions teach
In 2025 the budget was larger and the window stayed open until December. In 2026 the budget was smaller and, with requests assessed in order of arrival, funds in Arezzo ran out well before the deadline. Companies that received the grant the year before cannot apply again, so the measure favors first-time applicants with quotes ready on opening day.
What it builds
A voucher this size suits a single piece of work. I bring a first artificial intelligence use case to the documents the office sorts by hand, or secure access and backups and leave a written procedure the staff can follow.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
Past editions
Closed editions stay here, inside the page of the same incentive. They are what makes the rhythm visible: knowing that an incentive reopens every autumn with an endowment of a known order lets a company prepare instead of chasing it.
