The 2026 window is closed
With a notice the Chamber closed applications on the morning they opened, because the funds had run out. The call lets it refinance the measure or reopen the window, but no act has done so yet. This page explains how the measure works ahead of the next edition.
What it funds
This is the Bari edition of the national Twin Transition program, with a call of its own. Each company files one application, which can combine technology, consulting and training.
- Technology. Artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity and business continuity, high-performance computing, big data and analytics, IoT, robotics, blockchain, integrated business systems such as ERP and MES, CRM, digital systems for energy, emissions and ESG ratings. Solar panels, energy-saving home automation and charging points also qualify.
- Consulting. Assessment of the digital or green profile, study of the eligible technology, development plans, management systems such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001, a temporary external Innovation Manager or Energy Manager, ESG services, renewable energy community projects.
- Training. For permanent staff, on digital or green skills tied to the eligible technology.
- Bonus. A legality rating, a gender-equality certification or taking part in the PID-Next call add fixed amounts on top of the ceiling.
Requirements and what is left out
- Websites, e-commerce, phones and basic IT are excluded, unless they serve one of the main listed technologies.
- Also excluded: online advertising, SEO and SEM, tax, accounting or legal advice, regulatory compliance work, travel and lodging.
- Companies that received the voucher in the 2024 or 2025 edition cannot apply.
- Spend outside the window: only costs incurred after the award and before the deadline set by the call count, and that deadline closes the project.
- Linked suppliers: the supplier may not control the company or be controlled by it, nor share partners or directors with it. Consulting and training must come from the call's supplier categories, including EDIHs, certified Innovation Managers and innovative startups.
- Stacking: allowed with other de minimis aid up to the de minimis cap and with general tax measures up to the total spend. The voucher still counts against the de minimis allowance.
What the editions teach
In 2024 and 2025 the call was split into a digital and an energy measure, and in 2025 the digital one ran out on opening day, as it did in 2026. Here the order of arrival decides everything: a company that wants the voucher needs its quotes and documents ready before the window opens. I don't know whether the measure will return: no act says so.
What it builds
A voucher this size suits a single piece of work. I bring a first artificial intelligence use case to the documents the office sorts by hand, or secure access and backups and leave a written procedure the staff can follow.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
Past editions
Closed editions stay here, inside the page of the same incentive. They are what makes the rhythm visible: knowing that an incentive reopens every autumn with an endowment of a known order lets a company prepare instead of chasing it.
