The sportello is closed
The Chamber's page still shows the formal deadline of June 16, 2026 and carries no closing notice: I derive the day the funds ran out from the ranking, which lists admitted applications in order of filing and stops a few minutes after the June 9 opening, with grants that take up almost the whole fund. That is an inference, not a declaration. I found no reopening of the deadlines and no refinancing, two powers the call reserves to the Chamber, and the call has no waiting list. Anyone deciding today should not count on this grant.
What it funds
This is the Vicenza Chamber's annual call for the digital and green transition, and it does not mention the national Twin Transition program. The grant is non-repayable, a fixed amount rather than a percentage, and pays only consulting and services: physical goods are excluded.
- Innovation and enabling technologies. 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality, vertical and horizontal integration, IoT, cloud and quantum computing, big data, tracking (RFID, barcodes), CRM, warehouse automation software, software to integrate production and customer services.
- Expert reports and accessory training. Reports by engineers or industrial experts on the professional register that attest the interconnection of 4.0 assets; training strictly needed to use the software, given by the supplier, counts as an accessory cost.
- Artificial intelligence. Generative AI, content and marketing, customer service, predictive analytics, process automation.
- Cyber security. Digital identities and access control, device protection, backup and business continuity, email and cloud security, gap analysis against the NIS2 cybersecurity directive.
- Digital marketing. Strategy, data analysis, SEO, website analysis, privacy and cookie policies, consent and tracking tools. The active company website had to be named in the application.
- Ecological and energy transition. Feasibility and life-cycle studies (LCA), energy audits, sustainability reporting, a BCorp path (certification issuance fee excluded) or Benefit Corporation, ESG policies, software to measure energy consumption.
- Bonuses. A legality rating, a gender-equality certification, a course at PID Academy or at bodies accredited by the Veneto Region, membership of a renewable energy community in the province: they add to the base grant.
Requirements and what is left out
- Anyone without a legal seat or local unit in the Vicenza Chamber's district, or without the annual chamber fee paid: both are needed at payout at the latest, and at filing a declaration of intent to comply was enough.
- Anyone not active and in good standing with the business register, mandatory registries and social-security contributions, or in insolvency proceedings or liquidation: the requirements hold from filing to payout.
- Anyone with current supply contracts with the Vicenza Chamber at payout: the grant cannot be awarded, under the ban in Decree-Law 95/2012, art. 4, par. 6, which the call cites.
- Anyone in primary farming or fishing and aquaculture only: excluded. Companies that also do other things stay in and declare the work does not concern their primary activity.
- Anyone under an interdictory sanction (Legislative Decree 231/2001) or with representatives convicted of offenses that bar public procurement: excluded.
- Anyone without catastrophic-risk insurance (Law 213/2023, art. 1, par. 101): excluded, except farming companies. The Chamber checks a sample.
- Anyone buying physical goods, or incurring travel, board and lodging or overhead costs: excluded. Also out: help with ISO or EMAS certifications, legal compliance, consulting mostly on tax, finance or law, mandatory training, connectivity and utilities, support for software already bought.
- Anyone including promotional spend, website copywriting, translations or photography under digital marketing: those items are excluded.
- Anyone paying outside the call's spend period, in cash, by check or by offset: the spend is not eligible. Invoices and payments, advances included, count only inside that period and with a traceable payment.
- Anyone wanting to stack other aid on the same costs: the grant is not cumulable with other public benefits. It is de minimis, so it also counts toward the three-year allowance the company shares with every other aid under that regime.
- Anyone choosing a supplier without a legal seat in an EU Member State or with an activity inconsistent with the service: not eligible. The call lists the categories, from technology-transfer centers to Innovation Managers and the Innoveneto catalog.
- Anyone filing more than once: only the first in chronological order counted, unless the company noticed an error and resent the corrected application by itself within the deadlines.
For anyone with an application in
Nobody starts here any more: this part is for companies in the ranking. Under the call, invoices and payments must be closed by October 30, 2026, and reporting goes on ReStart from 3:00 p.m. on October 15 to 9:00 p.m. on November 30, 2026, in a single tranche, with no advances or balances.
- The report includes form B, the expense summary B2, electronic invoices in XML, the payments made and a new self-assessment report, different from the one filed with the application. The forms are on the Chamber's page.
- Every invoice carries, in its original description, the CUP (Unique Project Code) assigned by the ranking: a CUP written by hand later is void. For invoices issued before the ranking there is the Revenue Agency service that links the CUP, run by the company the invoice is addressed to, not by the supplier.
- Below the minimum spend the grant lapses. The rating, gender equality and energy community must still hold at payout, or that share is lost; for the course you need the attendance certificate.
- To withdraw, simply do not file the report. The call warns that withdrawal or failure to report may bar the next edition.
- The Chamber checks the DURC (contribution compliance), the annual fee and the absence of supply contracts with the Chamber, and stacking on a sample. It pays the grant net of withholding tax, unless exempt.
What changes from one edition to the next
The Chamber's pages show the editions from 2021 to 2026. The 2026 call says withdrawal or failure to report “may be grounds for inadmissibility in the possible next edition”, and the 2022, 2024 and 2025 editions excluded anyone who had received or been admitted to the previous grant. The 2026 call does not. The formula changed: a fixed amount in 2021 and 2022, a percentage with a cap only in 2023, a fixed amount again from 2024. The 2026 call names artificial intelligence and cyber security as areas of their own. The 2026 and 2025 rankings close within the first minutes. I don't know whether it will return: no act announces it.
What it builds
The call pays consulting and services, never goods, and the work I can do comes before the spend: working out which of the five areas the company really needs. I start a first artificial intelligence use case on the documents the company already produces, or tidy up access and backups, and I leave a readable technical file. Checking that the supplier fits the call's categories is the first step.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
Past editions
Closed editions stay here, inside the page of the same incentive. They are what makes the rhythm visible: knowing that an incentive reopens every autumn with an endowment of a known order lets a company prepare instead of chasing it.
