What it funds
The call under Action 2.2.1 of Sardinia's ERDF program co-funds Digitalization Plans: technology rollouts, dedicated staff and qualified consultancy for automation, interconnection and data analysis in company processes. The point that decides everything is the aid regime, which the applicant picks between two: de minimis or the GBER exemption, with different rates and ceilings in the call's table. The rate on the card is the maximum of the de minimis branch, which starts from a base and rises with bonuses; both the minimum and the ceiling apply to the plan's spend. With no alignment to the ICT area of the regional S3 the plan fails, however digital.
Requirements and what is left out
- Anyone not operating in Sardinia: the call looks at where the company operates.
- Anyone outside the ATECO codes of Appendix 4. A secondary code from the company register counts, as long as the plan concerns that activity.
- Anyone filing a plan misaligned with the ICT area of the regional S3 or with the call's timeline: alignment is an eligibility requirement.
- Anyone who has already used up their de minimis allowance, if they pick that branch: the grant counts against it for three years.
- On combining aid the constraint follows the chosen branch: de minimis consumes the shared allowance, the GBER branch follows that regime's combining rules. Stacking two grants on the same costs without checking compatibility risks repayment.
For open files
The day after opening, the managing body suspended pre-filling and submission, because the applications received already exceeded the endowment, and assessments move down the chronological list as funds free up. The steps below describe the procedure for anyone with a file loaded or for a possible reopening, to be checked on the managing body's page before moving.
- Pre-fill the application on the Region's SIPES system inside the window.
- Submit the validation code through the online portal: the date and time of that submission count, not the pre-fill.
- Pass formal and substantive eligibility first, then the merit phase, with a minimum score to reach; applications are assessed in chronological order.
Everything runs through SIPES; the conditions in full are on the Region's page.
What this budget builds
A Digitalization Plan funded here goes beyond a software purchase: it is the digital transformation of a process: I connect the management system to the machines and the warehouse, build the dashboard management genuinely reads, and bring data analysis where hand-kept spreadsheets sit today. I start by measuring the initial state, because a plan that never photographs the before cannot prove the after, and I leave the people who stay able to evolve what I install.
This entry is informational and is not advice: I do not handle grant applications, and before committing to a purchase it is worth reading the official source above or talking to whoever files the application.
